The Greater Seymour Chamber of Commerce’s 87th annual awards dinner will be March 8 at Celebrations, 357 Tanger Blvd., Suite 101, Seymour.
Highlights of the evening include a year in review, a look ahead and a presentation of community awards.
Community award winners are Rising Star Award, Dr. Matt Pierce; Small Business of the Year Award, The Pines; Teacher of the Year Award, Jennifer Regruth (elementary school), Cindy Ault (Middle School Level) and Ann Tormoehlen (high school); Corporate Citizen Award, Bob Poynter of Seymour; and Citizenship Award, John Beatty.

Reservations are $40 per person. Full tables of eight individuals need to contact the chamber office directly for seating arrangements.
The annual dinner will begin with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will begin at 6:15 p.m. with the program and award presentations immediately following.
