The Jackson County Public Library is offering free storytime programs Mondays and Tuesdays from March 5 through April 24 in the Kidz Korner program room at the library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

The library’s storytimes are 30-minute sessions that incorporate age-appropriate early literacy activities that include stories, rhymes and songs.

There will be no classes March 19. Registration is required.

Good Night Storytime is open to families and children at 6:30 p.m. Mondays. Come in your pajamas and bring your stuffed friend for a sensory-friendly evening. Bring literacy into your child’s bedtime routine with this calm version of storytime.

Good Morning Storytime is for babies ages newborn to 24 months at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays, toddlers ages 25 to 36 months at 10 a.m. Tuesdays and preschoolers ages 3, 4 and 5 at 10:30 and 11 a.m. Tuesdays.

An adult must accompany children ages 36 months and under to the storytimes. Parents and caregivers of children ages 3 to 5 years old may attend the storytime session with their child or wait in the Kidz Korner until the session ends.
