The American Red Cross is planning two blood drives later this month in North Vernon.

They are planned for 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 16 at Jennings County High School, 800 W. Walnut St., and from noon to 5 p.m. March 20 at the Jennings County Senior Center, 515 Buckeye St.

Donors of all blood types are needed to help ensure the Red Cross can collect more than 13,000 blood and platelet donations needed every day for patients.
