Donna June Owens, 84, of Seymour, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Covered Bridge health Care Campus. Donna was born in Brownstown, Indiana on June 19, 1933, the daughter of the late Wilson and Edith (Nowling) Holeman.

She married Kenneth Owens on August 13, 1949 in Brownstown, who precedes her in death.

Donna was a member of the First Baptist Church of Seymour. She had been employed as a dietitian at the heritage House and also been a foster grandparent.

She is survived by her daughter Debra (Robert) Simmons and son Tony Owens, five grandchildren Tyson Owens, Danny (Deanna) Simmons, Jon Simmons (Autumn Kinser), Brian Simmons, Kevin (Nikki) Simmons, seven great grandchildren, sisters Willadean Cockerham and Sue Riley.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters Betty Kriete and Joan Voss.

Voss & Sons Funeral Service will conducted the private graveside service at Riverview Cemetery, with Rev. Larry Tingle, officiating.

Family asks that memorials be written to the First Baptist Church through the Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
