A flood warning remains in effect through Thursday for the East Fork White River at Rockford just north of Seymour, according to the National Weather Service.

Minor flooding is being forecast. The river was expected to be near flood stage of 12 feet at 8 a.m. today and rise to 13.1 feet by Wednesday morning. It is expected to fall below flood stage by Thursday morning.

According to the Brownstown Central High School weather station, .78 inches of rain had fallen from early Saturday through Sunday morning in the central part of Jackson County.
