The Driftwood Township board will conduct a public meeting at 7:30 p.m. May 15 at the fire station, 3284 S. Water St., Vallonia.

The purpose of the meeting is to appoint a township resident as a member of the Brownstown Central Community School Corp. board of trustees for the years 2018 to 2022.

The term of the person appointed will begin at the end of the present term, which expires June 30, and continue until June 30, 2022.

An executive session, closed to the public and press, will be at 8 p.m.
