Hayden homecoming planned for Sunday

The Hayden High School Alumni Association’s 78th annual homecoming will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in the pavilion at the Hayden Historical Museum, 6715 W. County Road 20S.

There will be an ice cream social at the end of the program. Anyone who would like to bring a dessert may do so.

The invitation to the reunion is extended to anyone who ever attended the Hayden school, but special recognition will be given to the members of the anniversary classes of 1948, 1953 and 1958 and to those students who would have graduated in 1963 if Hayden High School had not been consolidated.

The program will consist of alumni business and announcements; the introduction of Cody St. John, the 2018 Michael Euler Memorial Award winner; the induction of Ted Brunner and Ben and Mary Richman into the Hayden Hall of Fame; recognition of members of the anniversary classes; and introduction of former Hayden schoolteachers.

The reunion is an opportunity for everyone to get together to visit with friends, classmates and teachers.

The Hayden Historical Museum buildings will be open throughout the afternoon as another attraction.
