Ladies Aid 3 of Immanuel Lutheran Church traveled to Versailles to tour Tyson Temple United Methodist Church, which was built in 1937 without any nails.
Pastor Michael Dixon gave a tour of the church. After the tour, the group went to Carriage House for lunch.
A brief meeting was conducted by vice president Ann Mahan. A discussion was conducted about giving Bethel Linn of Cambodia finances to help with his trip to Seymour to finish his education at Trinity Lutheran High School. Rosalie Grabinski made a motion to give him a monetary gift, and Lois Byrkett seconded. The motion was voted on and passed.
A sign-up sheet was passed out for donations and helpers for the craft show Nov. 3.
A sign-up sheet also was sent around for Derby Dinner Playhouse scheduled for Sept. 19.
After the meeting, the group returned home.
