Knit, crochet sessions set at libraries

0

Beginners can learn to knit or crochet and advanced yarn-crafters can work on their projects together during Needle Arts Group at 10 a.m. Aug. 9 and 23 at the Crothersville Library or at Knit & Crochet Night at 6:30 p.m. the same days at the Seymour Library.

Crothersville Library participants also are encouraged to bring quilting, cross-stitch or latch/rug hooking projects.

Beginners should bring short size 7 or 8 knitting needles or a size J or K crochet hook and a ball of regular worsted weight yarn to begin to learn either craft. Experienced yarn-crafters may bring their current projects or try new knit or crochet patterns furnished to the group.

These free drop-in programs meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of most months.
