Police have arrested a 32-year-old Seymour wanted man after he fled police Tuesday afternoon.

Nathan E. Sagers was arrested south of State Road 250 Tuesday after fleeing police for about two hours, police said.

Jackson County Officer Adam Nicholson said Sager was wanted on warrants issued locally and from Iowa for felony battery and strangulation charges.

Nicholson said Jackson County Officer Rick Meyer spotted Sagers in a wood line next to a creek south of State Road 250. Police had been searching for him after he fled the area near the Dudleytown Conservation Club.

Police described him as armed and dangerous, but it is not immediately clear what weapons – if any – he had when he fled police.
