A car wash to benefit Todd’s Place in Seymour is scheduled for Saturday in the Taco Bell parking lot.

Residents and volunteers from Todd’s Place along with members of Celebrate Recovery in Crothersville will wash people’s vehicles for a freewill offering.

The event is being organized by Jason and Janet Davis to help pay operating expenses for Todd’s Place.

"We are trying to raise funds to support the ministry of Todd’s Place because we have personally seen it change the lives of many men as well as their families," the Davises said.

Kris Hunley, director of operations at Todd’s Place, said around 100 men are currently relying on the facility to help them get through drug and alcohol addiction.

"Help us help the community," Hunley said.
