Activities were spread out around St. Ambrose Catholic School in Seymour on Friday as VIP Day and International Day of Peace were celebrated.

In the gymnasium, students and their VIPs could play bingo, color and get pictures taken together.

In the cafeteria, they could buy books at a book fair and play with a parachute.

They also could make a pinwheel, write a peace prayer, trace their hand on paper to add to a peace sign on a bulletin board, make a peace dove, pray for peace and play games in different areas of the school.

The celebration ended with a program and lunch in the gym.
