The sixth annual Dancing with the Seymour Stars took place Saturday at Celebrations in Seymour.

This year’s winners were Bri Roll and Alex Cazares, first place; Katrina Hardwick and Shawn Charlton, second place; and Ashley and Dr. Andrew Dec, third place.

Other dancers this year included Kelley Gillaspy and Matt Nieman, Alexa Ulrey and Brandon Joray, Theresa and Rob Schwartz, Ana De Gante and Frankie Galicia and Sarah Arnold and Shintaro Takeuchi.

The event raised a total of $101,793, which benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Seymour and Seymour Main Street.

More than 500 people attended the sold-out night performance, and another 300 bought tickets for the matinee show.

Started in 2013, the event has now raised more than $540,000.

Past winners include Angie Mellencamp and Dr. Nate Otte in 2017, Becky Boas and Brad Boas in 2016, Tom Lewis, Elizabeth Copeland and Patti Terrell in 2015, Tom and Dana Bollinger in 2014 and Dr. Charlie Calhoun and Tammy Lewis in 2013.
