Jackson County Public Library book discussion groups plan to gather to discuss book themes, writing styles, characters and more this month at the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries.

The groups are open to adults, and there is no attendance requirement. Books are available to check out at library checkout desks.

The Tuesday Night Book Club will discuss its monthly book at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at Mi Casa, 101 N. Broadway St., Seymour. Information services manager Janet Hensen will lead the review of “Midnight Assassin” by Skip Hollandsworth. Everyone attending should bring money if they plan to eat. Sign up for the program as you check out the book from the checkout desk.

The book discussion group at the Crothersville Library, which usually meets on the third Wednesday of each month, will gather and share thoughts on “Follow the River” by Hoosier author James Alexander Thom at 6 p.m. Nov. 14. This is a week early due to the library’s 6 p.m. closing Nov. 21.

Fantastic Fiction will discuss “After You” by Jojo Moyes at 11 a.m. Nov. 16 at the Seymour Library. Led by various staff members, this group meets on the third Friday of each month.

The Medora Library book discussion group will meet at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 26 to talk about “Oogy: The Dog Only a Family Could Love” by Larry Levin. The group meets on the fourth Monday of each month.
