A beginning welding instruction class will be offered for adults in the community Jan. 10, 17, 24 and 31 and Feb. 7 and 21 in the agriculture shop at Brownstown Central High School.

The basics of welding will be taught from 6 to 8 p.m. each day for a total of 12 hours of instruction.

Areas covered will include arc welding, MIG welding, TIG welding, oxy/fuel and plasma cutting.

Blake Hackman, the school’s agriculture teacher, will be the instructor.

The cost is $75. Make checks payable to BCCSC. Registration is due by Dec. 18 and may be mailed to Blake Hackman, BCHS, 500 N. Elm St., Brownstown, IN 47220.
