Chamber sponsoring seminar Thursday

The Greater Seymour Chamber of Commerce will host a seminar on "Unconscious Bias in the Workplace" from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Premier Companies, located at 811 W. Second St. in Seymour.

Registration is $40 per person. Continuing education credit is available through IUPUC for this seminar.

Melissa C. Fairbanks, director of the Center for Business and Economic Development, will educate attendees about unconscious biases and the impact on their employees and businesses. Recognizing the value of becoming aware of bias, businesses have increased unconscious bias training at all levels in organizations.
