Braves earn conference win

SELLERSBURG — Brownstown Central posted a 52-40 Mid-Southern Conference victory at Silver Creek Thursday.

The Braves led 22-14 at halftime and 32-26 going into the fourth quarter. In the final eight minutes, the Braves added 20 points to secure the win.

Ashley Schroer led the Braves with 16 points and Halle Hehman and Katherine Benter each added 15.

Jaclyn Emly topped the Dragons (8-5, 3-3 MSC) with 22 points.

The Braves (8-6, 3-4 MSC) will travel to Madison Tuesday.
