Theta Omega chapter of Phi Beta Psi sorority recently met at Rails Craft Brew and Eatery in downtown Seymour.

Jan Robinson gave thanks prior to the dinner.

Special guests were the seven queen contestants for the February dinner-dance to raise money for cancer research. The candidates’ mothers also attended. The hostesses were Mary Reynolds, Melanie Klakamp, Bobbie Sue Sweany and Tracey Phillips.

Reynolds introduced the girls, Molly Baurle, Ashton Chase, Jenna Gray, Brett Kleber, Karrington Koester, Grace Rueger and Addison Wingler, who in turn talked about themselves, their school activities and where their canisters for penny-a-vote were located.

Tickets are $75 per couple and $38 for singles. The Jackson Way will provide the music. Guests are encouraged to dress in the ’20s style.

Door prizes were given to Doris Baurle, Robinson, Kleber, Dana Byrkett, Rueger, Taryn Rockey and Lori Keithley.
