Creative Clovers 4-H Club meets at library

The Creative Clovers 4-H Club met Jan. 8 at the Jackson County Public Library in Seymour.

Roll call was completed with members describing what they did over Christmas break. The health and safety lesson was about prevention of injuries in cold weather. Taylor Blair gave the treasurer’s report with no new activity for December.

Green folders and money from projects completed in the 2018 fair were distributed to members. Members were reminded about enrolling online by Jan. 15.

Jessica Blevins gave a demonstration on how to make posters for the various poster projects, which included a handout.

Officers were elected for 2019 and include the following: President, Blevins; vice president, Blair; secretary, Jacob Rennekamp; treasurer, Josh Rennekamp; health and safety, Grace and Phillip Rennekamp; devotions, Miller Acton; and recreation, Wyatt and Zoe Wischmeier.

Leaders remain the same: Carol Johnson, Debbie Risser and Sally Acton.
