State District 44 Sen. Eric Koch, R-Bedford, welcomed several Jackson County students to the Statehouse as pages in January and February.

Those pages included Brownstown Central High School student Grant Elliott of Brownstown; Seymour Middle School students Macy Casner, Lorelai Dixon, Avery Miller, Mia Prewitt, Lilian Prince and Olivia Reinhart, all of Seymour; and Seymour High School student Kaelen Eglen of Seymour.

Other students with Jackson County ties serving as pages were Jade Hoffmeister of Seymour, Alyson Pennington of Freetown and Aiden Schilling of Freetown, all of whom attend Brown County Junior High School.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senators.
