Cassidy Isaacs recently received the Brownstown Exchange Club’s January Youth of the Month award.

The Brownstown Central High School senior, who is daughter of Brad and Nickie Isaacs, received the award from Kevin Gwin during a club meeting. Gwin, a teacher at the school, is a member of the club’s youth of the month committee.

Isaacs is a member of the Academic Super Bowl Team and National Honor Society and is vice president of the Booster Club.

She is a member of the choir and performed in the past fall and spring shows.

Isaacs is maintaining an academic honors diploma with a 4.062 grade-point average and is a part of the cadet teaching program. She is a part-time employee of B.loved boutique in Seymour.

Isaacs thanked the club for the award and said she plans to attend the University of Indianapolis or Indiana University Southeast and study elementary education.
