Cougars edge Panthers

Trinity Lutheran topped Jennings County 176-177 at St. Anne’s Golf Course Wednesday.

Mark Shoemaker led the Cougars with a 3-over-par 39. Ryland Nierman carded a 43, Jacob Keith shot 46, Jacob Sabotin totaled 48 and Josiah Foster had 51.

Owls finish second in tri-meet

Bedford North Lawrence scored 159, Seymour had 175 and Providence carded 198 in a tri-meet at Shadowood Golf Course Tuesday.

BNL’s Ethan Stanley shot two over for medalist honors with a 38.

Owen Marshall scored 39, Ethan Dippold had 40, Conner Hinton and Zach Story each totaled 48 and Brady Jackson shot 54 for SHS.
