The Crothersville Parks Board’s annual Christmas parade kicks off at 6 p.m. today from Bard Street Park.

The parade will travel along Preston and Moore streets and end at the Crothersville-Vernon Township Volunteer Fire Department.

There, people can buy dinner, including chili and treats, and meet Santa Claus. Santa will have something for every child, and people are encouraged to bring their cameras for pictures with Santa.

The winners of the Light Up Crothersville contest also will be announced.
