The Loyal Devoir Society of Central Christian Church’s annual Christmas dinner was Dec. 3 at The Pines.

The theme of the event was "White Christmas."

President Paula Stafford presented gifts of appreciation to the officers serving under her. She thanked Loretta Riehl and Carolyn Bruce and committees for planning and organizing the celebration.

White tree ornaments with winter foliage adorned the tables. There were more than 41 members and guests present.

Helen Horton gave devotions on "Christmas Bells" that bring happiness, love and kindness to others. Pastor Bill Everhart gave the prayer before the meal.

Debbie Wince and others presented a musical program of singing and playing instruments. They included a host of Christmas carols and hymns. 

Horton announced the new officers for 2020. They are president, Janice Brock; vice president, Barb Bentley; treasurer, Betty Guinn; and secretary, Judy McDonald.

The meeting was closed with the Mizpah Benediction.
