South Putnam punishes Medora

Medora made the trip up to Putnam County and were outscored 36-10 in the first half as the host Eagles won 57-35 on Tuesday night.

The Hornets played better in the second half, outscoring the Eagles 25-21, but the hole was too large and the comeback fell well short.

Braxton McCory led the Hornets with 10 points as the only player for Medora in double figures. Jayvin Spurgeon added seven, Bryce Guffey tallied five, both Isaiah Myers and Sheperd Earl netted four, Caleb Sturgill grabbed three and Jack Combs rounded out the scoring with two.
