The Jackson County Public Library board of trustees met Tuesday at the Seymour Library. The meeting was a day later than normal due to the Presidents Day holiday.

Angie Keasler completed her oath of office at the start of the meeting. She has been appointed by the Brownstown, Crothersville and Medora school boards through Dec. 31, 2023.

Head of Collection Development Monica Boyer gave a report on her duties, including oversight of technical services and adult nonfiction and reference selection and withdrawal.

The board approved personnel changes, changes to the collection development policy and closing the Seymour Library at 3 p.m. Aug. 21 due to the Seymour Area Cruisers car show.

The next regular board meeting is at 4:30 p.m. March 16 at the Crothersville Library, 120 W. Main St.
