A Seymour resident was among more than 250 students at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, to receive degrees May 9 during an online celebration.

Whitney Pottschmidt received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the university.

The celebration consisted of video clips of graduates celebrating their achievements.

Concordia’s traditional in-person commencement ceremony has been postponed to Aug. 1 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
