Purdue Club to host student send-off party

The Purdue Club of Jackson County is inviting all incoming freshmen and current Purdue University students from Jackson County to a student send-off event at 7 p.m. July 21 at Jackson Masonic Lodge 146, 1818 N. Ewing St., Seymour.

The event, also open to parents and family members, is designed to allow new and existing students to socialize, share and plan for the coming school year.

Those attending will be treated to pizza, chips, soft drinks and door prizes.

The club consists of Purdue alumni and friends who strive to provide support and assistance to students during their university experience and beyond.
