There will be plenty of free milk given away this week around Jackson County.

Staff Management SMX has partnered with Prairie Farms for a giveaway at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the staffing agency’s local office, 114 E. Tipton St., Seymour.

More than 2,500 gallons of Prairie Farms milk will be available, and the event will continue until the supply runs out.

Then at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Crothersville Community School Corp. in cooperation with Prairie Farms will host a Farm to Family free milk event at Premier Energy CountryMark, 5307 S. U.S. 31, Crothersville.

It goes from 4 to 6 p.m. or until all of the milk is gone. People should remain in their vehicles and a Crothersville FFA member will assist them in getting milk.

Finally, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, a Farm to Family event will be at Seymour Christian Church, 915 Kasting Road, Seymour. The end time may change if the milk has all been given away.

Social distancing will be observed. People are asked to drive up to the drop-off site and stay in their vehicle, and volunteers will ask how many gallons of milk are needed.

For all of the giveaways, there are no forms to fill out or income restrictions to receive the free milk.
