Jackson County residents are invited to participate in a virtual community conversation relating to the health and quality of life in the area.

The conversation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov 4. To register, visit the Classes and Events page on schneckmed.org. Upon registration, you will be emailed a Zoom link to access the meeting.

The meeting will be centered on issues relating to nutrition, physical activity, tobacco and substance use and mental health. It will be led by the Healthy Jackson County Coalition, Schneck Medical Center, Purdue Cooperative Extension, Indiana University School of Public Health and IU Center for Rural Engagement. 

The event will be a space for interested community residents to discuss data outlined in the Jackson County Community Health Needs Assessment, share community concerns and learn about opportunities to participate in advancing the health of Jackson County.

Additional community conversation dates will be announced following the Nov. 4 meeting.
