Additional Appropriations
Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Jackson County, Indiana, that the County Council of said County will meet at the Courthouse Annex, Brownstown, Indiana, at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st day of May 2008, to consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year.
Motor Vehicle Highway Fund
Highway Supervisor
Contract Paving, $700,255.19
Cumulative Bridge Fund
Highway Supervisor
Misc. Guardrail, $5,000.00
Equipment Purchases, $16,252.00
Local Roads & Streets
Highway Supervisor
Bituminous By Bid, $306,457.44
Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the State Department of Local government Finance. The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
