Elementary school bus information

 

Buses to Brownstown Elementary:  Bus transportation will be furnished mornings to all pupils attending the

Brownstown Elementary School in order to avoid safety hazards that would exist for pupils walking along

highways.  Several pick-up points have been designated in the community where buses will stop for pupils

going to or returning from the elementary building. 

 

The following pick-up points have been set but are subject to revision with changes in enrollment:

 

Bus No. 2-A.M. - Venus Road (near Dura Mfg.); Venus Acres (Kelly Dr.); Venus Acres (Paige Dr.); Venus Acres (Jodi Dr.); Ewing & Branch Streets; Ewing & Orchard Streets.

           

Bus No. 2-P.M. - Venus Road (Near Dura Mfg.) Venus Acres (Kelly Dr.); Venus Acres (Paige Dr.); Venus Acres (Jodi Dr.); Brownstown Central Superintendent's Office (formerly U.S.

 Forestry Service); Ewing & Orchard Streets; Walnut Street.

     

Bus No.  3 - Apts. On U.S. 50; High Street Apts.; M.S. Drop; Spring & Stout; H.S. Drop; High Street Apts.; Commerce Street (Kids Carousel); Bridge & Benton Streets; Oak & Ewing Streets (Monroe County Bank); Elementary Drop.

 

Bus No. 4 – In town Vallonia – S. 135 to Trinity Lutheran Church.

    

Bus No. 5 - Commerce and Sugar Streets (A.M. only; Old Vallonia Road; Cummings & Poplar Streets; S. Main     Street; Old Vallonia Road & Main Street; Trailer Court (entrance on Miller {P.M. only} and entrance on Poplar); Middle School Drop;Lutheran Central Drop; High School Drop; Poplar & Walnut Streets; Poplar & Tanner Streets; S. Main Street; Main & Cummings; Poplar Street; S. Main St.

 

Bus No. 6 - Trailer Court (by Midwest Env.); S. Poplar & Miller; 600 Block S. Poplar; South Main & Miller Streets; E. Commerce & Sugar Streets.

    

Bus No. 8 - Spring & Stout (Christian Church Day Care); Clark & Spring Streets; Clark & Cross Streets.

 

Bus No. 9 – Buena Vista Addition, Old Wayman addition.

 

Bus No. 11 - Bloomington Road & Stout St.

         

Bus No. 12 - Venus Acres (Kelly & Jodi Dr.); Bridge & Main Streets (Jackson Co. EMT parking lot).

 

Bus No. 13 - Highway 135 & Raymond Dr. (Old Wayman Addition); U.S. 50 (by Vet. Clinic); Ashland Street & Poplar Cove Ct., Sand Lane (by the Golf course.)

 

Bus No. 14 - Tanner & McMahan Streets; Spring & Sugar Streets.

 

Bus No. 15 - W. Walnut Street (near Juvenile Home); High & Bridge Streets; High & Spring Streets.

 

Bus No. 24  Presbyterian Church (417 North Elm Street); Walnut Street.
