Comments 0 | Recommend 0

A new arts committee working through Brownstown Improvement Committee is planning art classes for adults in the Brownstown community.

The Southern Indiana Center for the Arts at Seymour is working in conjunction with Brownstown Arts Committee to offer classes, which will begin Nov. 4 and continue on Wednesday evenings through Dec. 2. This class will be taught by SICA teacher Kay Fox.

The first two sessions will concentrate on drawing skills and the remaining three will concern acrylic painting.

Supplies will be provided for the first two classes and the teacher will explain the supplies needed for the remaining three sessions.

The class will meet from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Brownstown Presbyterian Church, 417 N. Elm St.

Tuition is $50 for all five sessions. Advance reservations are required by calling the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts at 522-2278.
