Notice To Bidders
Notice is hereby given that the Board of School Trustees of the Brownstown Central Community School Corporation, Jackson County, Indiana, will receive sealed bids for the following:
Gasoline and diesel fuel. The fleet will consist of approximately 34 diesel buses.
Oils, lubricants, filters, and other supplies and services for vehicles and equipment owned and or operated by said school corporation.
It is anticipated we will have the following buses in our bus fleet:
1, Thomas (Safe T Liner), Caterpillar, C7 300 HP.
4, Ford, Cummins, 5.9 Diesel.
17, International, International, 7.3 Turbo Diesel.
5, Thomas, F65 Mercedes Benz, MBE 906.
1, Ford, 365 Internatinal, 6.0 Diesel.
6, Thomas (Safe T Liner), Cummins ISB, 220 HP.
Bids will be taken at the office of the superintendent of said school corporation up to the hour of 10:00 a.m. (E.D.T.) on Tuesday, the 6th day of May, 2008, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after that time will be returned unopened.
Bids will be tabulated and presented to the Board of School Trustees for approval at the June 10, 2008, 7:30 p.m. meeting.
The Board of School Trustees of the Brownstown Central Community School Corporation reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
