Notice To Taxpayes Of
Additional Appropriations

Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Jackson County, Indiana, that the County Council of said County will meet at the Courthouse Annex, Brownstown, Indiana, at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th day of July 2008, to consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year.

General Fund

County Prosecutor

Deputy Prosecutor Pay, $1,426.08

County Sheriff

Gas/Oil, $35,000.00

County Coroner

Autopsie, $10,000.00

Toxicology, $2,500.00

Alcohol and Drug Fund

Superior Court Judge

Alcohol and Drug Education Programs, $3,678.50

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the State Department of Local Government Finance. The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
