The City of Seymour, Department of Parks & Recreation, is requesting proposals from qualified companies or individuals to provide concession operations for seven (7) of the City of Seymour’s concession stands, specifically:
Freeman Field Recreation Complex (2)
Shields Parks Ball Diamonds (2)
Gaiser Park (1)
Kessler Park (1)
Kasting Park (1)
It is anticipated that the City of Seymour will award a contract to the highest and best bidder to operate the seven (7) concessions stands for the period of April 1, 2010 through October 31, 2010. More detailed information and copies of the proposal packets may be picked up at Seymour City Hall, 301 North Chestnut Street, Seymour, Indiana 47274.

Sealed proposals (clearly marked on the outside “Concession Proposal”) are to be addressed and delivered to Jeff Vance, Director of Department of Parks and Recreation, Seymour City Hall, 301 North Chestnut Street, Seymour, Indiana 47274 on or before 4:00 p.m. on December 14, 2009. Proposals arriving later than that date and time will not be considered. All proposals will be opened and read aloud at a public meeting of the Parks and Recreation Board. After reviewing all the proposals, the Parks and Recreation Board may make a recommendation to the Seymour Board of Public Works and Safety who will make the final decision concerning awarding a contract. The City of Seymour reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
