The Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of Seymour, Indiana will hold a public hearing on the 22nd day of April, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour, Indiana on a "Petition to Vary from Technical Requirements" for real estate within the jurisdiction of the Board of Zoning Appeals. A copy of the petition is on file and available for review at the Department of Planning and Zoning of the City of Seymour, Indiana.
The hearing is open to the public, all adjoining property owners, and any other interested person. Interested persons may appear and offer comments on the petition during the hearing. Any person who chooses to submit written comments or objections may do so at the Department of Planning and Zoning, 301-309 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour, Indiana before 4:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing.
The name of the applicant is Scott Phillips and the owner is Madeline Grace LLC. The affected real estate is 601 Burkart Blvd. and fronts on Burkart Blvd. The present zoning classification is C-3, Commercial Business.
The applicant has requested a variance on technical requirements for the real estate because the petitioner wishes to vary from the required 5' landscape buffer along Burkart Boulevard and Darci's Drive to allow additional room for parking.
The legal description of the real estate effected is as follows: Lot "D" in Briarcreek Subdivision, Phase 1, in the city of Seymour.
