Additional Appropriations

Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Jackson County, Indiana, that the County Council of said County will meet at the Courthouse Annex, Brownstown, Indiana, at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th day of November 2009, to consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year.

Cumulative Bridge Fund

Highway Supervisor

Bridge Reinspection, $40,699.93

Misc. Small Structures, $5,000.00

Bridge 4B, $10,000.00

Bridge #95, $2,320.00

Bridge #194, $4,520.00

Capital Projects Fund

Highway Supervisor

Cumulative Capital Fund

Highway Supervisor

Trucks & Equipment, $750,000.00

County Assessor

Software Purchase, $12,500.00

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the State Department of Local Government Finance. The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
