Public Notice

Jackson County, Indiana will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Chambers, Jackson County Courthouse Annex, 220 E. Walnut Street, Brownstown, IN 47220 to provide interested citizens an opportunity to express their views on the recently completed Jackson County – Vallonia Area Storm Drainage Planning Study. The Jackson County – Vallonia Area Storm Drainage Planning Study was paid for using Federal Community Development Block Grant Funds from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs. Representatives from the engineering firm, Janssen & Spaans Engineering Inc. will present their findings and recommendations at the hearing. Every effort will be made to allow persons to voice their opinions at the public hearing. Persons with disabilities or non-English speaking persons who wish to attend the public hearing and need assistance should contact Jeff Hubbard, Director, Jackson County Human Resources, Jackson County Annex Building, 220 E. Walnut Street, Brownstown, IN 47220, 812-358-6184, not later than December 11, 2009. Every effort will be made to make reasonable accommodations for these persons.
