God will take care of us
Comments 0 | Recommend 0God always provides just the right thing, at just the right place, at just the right time. If God had waited a second longer, Abraham would have plunged the knife into Isaac (Genesis 22:10-12). It would have been too late. But God is never late. He is always right on time. We have to remember that God never committed himself to our timeframe.
God knows what he is doing. He doesn't need our help. It is up to us to learn to trust him. In Isaiah 55:9, God says, "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." The good news is not that we have a wonderful plan for our life and God is going to somehow help us fulfill it. The good news is that God has a wonderful plan for us. He knows just what we need, where we need it and when we need it.
Have you come to the place where you can trust him completely in that regard? Our memory is so short sometimes. We forget what God has done for us yesterday, let alone last week, last month or last year. Think about all that God has provided for you in the past. Take some time today to make a list. I think you'll be surprised how long that list will be.
We all need to be reminded that God is our provider. You can go ahead and trust him with the needs of your life (not the wants or the things we think we need), remembering what Paul said in Philippians 4:19; "This same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus."
God is our provider. He is able. He can be trusted. God will provide the right thing, at just the right place, at just the right time. It is up to us to trust him. When I choose to put my eyes on the Lord, and not my situation, God will take me through my problem. Be careful not to allow your problems to come between you and your Heavenly Father. When you do, you can't get a clear picture of God. I can also tell you, when God is between us and our problems, our problems don't look nearly as big.
