Officer retiring from department
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Seymour Board of Public Works and Safety will consider a variety of matters at 11 a.m. today, including a letter of retirement from a long-time police officer.
Chief Bill Abbott is expected to present board members with a letter of retirement from Woodrow DeZarn Jr.
In other matters, the board will hear a request to accept improvements to Walnut Crossing subdivision and the release of a $310,020.50 bond; Troy Antle of Strand Associates will present a change order to the industrial park sewer project; the board will review an application for a sewer connection and treatment service and consider two sewer adjustment requests.
The board meets in council chambers at Seymour City Hall, 309 N. Chestnut St. Meetings are open to the public.
