SAT prep class set in Columbus

COLUMBUS — The Center for Teaching and Learning will offer classes to help high school students prepare for the SAT exam.

Classes will be taught by licensed teachers and will cover English and math skills. The sessions include four classes, held on the four Saturdays before the SAT exam date. English classes will meet from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and math classes will meet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The first session is scheduled for Feb. 13, Feb. 20, Feb. 27 and March 6.

Another session is scheduled for April 3, April 10, April 17 and April 24.

All classes will meet at the Center for Teaching and Learning, 4555 Central Ave., in Room 1618.

The cost to participate is $139 for English only, $139 for math only, and $229 for math and English. The cost includes an SAT prep book and study materials.
