Jackson County police continue to investigate the death of a 58-year-old Vallonia man found by a relative in his home Sunday morning. According to a report from the sheriff's department, the man was found dead by a family member coming to pick him up for church at 10:19 a.m. Sunday.

Dr. Wes Whittler was to conduct an autopsy Monday morning in an effort to determine the cause of death, police reported.
