Four passengers in a vehicle that flipped four times in Hamilton Township on Tuesday afternoon were hospitalized for evaluation, police say.

According to a report from Jackson County Officer Dustin Steward, 18-year-old Brian Embry was driving a 2002 Dodge Stratus west in the 400 block of County Road 875N when he lost control of the vehicle after topping a hill.

The vehicle then flipped four times before ending up on its top.

Embry was not injured, but four passengers were treated by Jackson County Emergency Medical Services personnel and taken to Schneck Medical Center in Seymour for evaluation.

The injury status of the four as well as their names were not available at press time.

Hamilton Township firefighters and officers with the Indiana State Police assisted with the wreck, reported to dispatch at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
