River on the rise

East Fork of the White River was rising Friday but should remain within its banks.
The river's level was at 6.69 feet at 6 p.m. Friday. It's expected to crest at 9.9 feet sometime Sunday afternoon. Flood stage at Seymour is 12 feet.
Rain was expected to move out of the area Friday night or early today.
Rainfall in the area totaled 0.52 inches Friday.
