Two Jennings County residents remain in an Indianapolis hospital after they were injured in a wreck in the southwestern part of that county Monday evening.

Officers and medical personnel responding to reports of the wreck found 16-year-old Deanna Pennycuff of Commiskey pinned beneath a Chevrolet Blazer that had been driven by Sarah Thomas, 29, of rural North Vernon on County Road 600W, south of County Road 500S.

Pennycuff was listed in serious condition at Methodist Hospital while Thomas was listed in critical condition, hospital spokesman Gene Ford said Tuesday afternoon.
