Jackson County no longer under flash flood warning
Comments 0 | Recommend 0East Fork of the White River was rising from 6.23 feet at 6 a.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
The agency is still expecting the river to crest around 8.4 feet sometime Sunday. Flood stage at Seymour is 12 feet.
Rain continues falling Friday, but the Jackson County area is no longer under a flash flood warning or watch.
Today, showers are likely and possibly a thunderstorm with a high near 76 and a calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Saturday should be sunny, with a high near 82. North northeast wind around 5 mph.

Jackson County is under a flash flood warningThursday night with a possibility of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.
The East Fork of the White River was at 6.12 feet at 6 p.m. Thursday and preparing to start rising because of rainfall north and northeast of Jackson County.
The river is expected to crest at 8.4 feet Sunday afternoon.
Flood stage at Seymour is 12 feet.
