Indiana Department of Transportation said Sunday there will be lane restrictions on Indiana 65 in Bartholomew County beginning 9 p.m. Monday.
Starting at the Taylorsville interchange, one lane of southbound I-65 will be restricted as work begins on a $4.9 million preservation project between the Taylorsville interchange and County Road 350 South south of Columbus.
Milestone Contractors L.P. of Columbus will be working from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, weather depending.
Workers will work on the southbound lanes and then switch to the northbound side.
One lane will remain open on the side under construction.
The contract has a Sept. 30 completion date.
