Tip leads to indoor marijuana plants
Comments 0 | Recommend 0MEDORA - A man was arrested Monday night in connection with marijuana being grown inside a residence after an anonymous tip was made to police.
Jackson County Sheriff's Department Officers Jeff Walters and Adam Nicholson re-sponded to the report that marijuana was being grown at a home on East Scott Street in Medora
During the investigation, officers obtained consent to search the residence and found 24 marijuana plants in the back bedroom of the home, police said.
There were also several indoor growing lights that were confiscated and paraphernalia used for smoking marijuana.
Arnold J. Moore, 19, of Medora faces charges of cultivating marijuana, a Class D felony, and possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor, police said. Moore is being held in the Jackson County Jail at Brownstown on $1,005 bond.
Also assisting in this investigation was Medora Police Department.
