CROTHERSVILLE - The only doctor's office in Crothersville is closing.

Crothersville Family Medicine, at Moore and Preston streets, will be open until Nov. 7. The office opened the same date in 2005.

All records will be held at Jackson Park Physicians off Jackson Park Drive in Seymour.

"We're the custodians of the records," said Tammy Butler of the Jackson Park Physicians office.

Butler said she did not know the specific reason why the office is closing.

Before Jackson Park Physicians opened the Crothersville office in 2005, it had been closed several years.

Since then, she said, "There were five physicians on a rotation with a nurse practitioner."

Patients are asked to stop by the Crothersville office before Nov. 7 or call the Jackson Park office at 522-1613 to discuss records and to consider medical care through the Seymour office.
